February 15, 2013 " Zoo fun"

My cousin Katie came into the city today and we went to the zoo to enjoy the beautiful weather..unfortunately the rest of Calgary had the same idea! It was still nice to get out and 

loved that Katie had the energy to wrangle my child when I didn't!

Lucas would watch the zebras all day if he could!

He played at the "big" park for the first time and made it all the way to the top and across the swinging bridge..his daddy would have been peeing his pants!

February 14, 2013 "Heart day"

He's about as thrilled about Valentine's Day as his daddy!! He even has the tears to prove it! He will love it one day...I will change that! :P

February 13, 2013 "Rollerskates"

Lucas was using pieces of his wooden train track as "rollerskates" and than proceeded to complain that they hurt his feet! Too funny!

February 12, 2013 "Timer"

You know how with you first pregnancy you take belly shots all the time?? Well I sure haven't taken as many this time around so I figured that I should probably capture a few shots before this little one makes her arrival. This called for a tripod and a timer and a few bribes for a certain little man to cooperate...he did pretty good but there were a few fights in there. Good thing pictures don't tell the whole story, right??

February 11, 2013 "Sew much fun"

It's been a really long time since I have sewed anything but I really wanted to make a baby blanket so it called for the Singer to be pulled out. Unfortunately something that should have taken only an hour took much longer thanks to two completely different fabrics not meshing so well! Good thing babies don't notice detail too much!

February 10, 2013 "Happy"

We met up with my parents at Costco to pick Lucas up..he was rather excited to see us..as was Reuben to see him! 

February 9, 2013 "Coffee Break"

Reuben and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend in Canmore and Banff  just the two of us. Starbucks was a must!

February 8, 2013 "Nana's house"

Playing at Nana's house...he wanted me to actually lock him in the cabinet...it was tempting...but I didn't! He loves playing hide and seek but shows you where he is hiding and than just wants you to count...its great cause you really don't have to get off of the couch! :P

February 7, 2013 "Hollow leg"

I was trying to get a picture of how much food he will eat sometimes...and than he got mad for taking a picture!! And two seconds later he wanted more pictures...3 years old rock!

February 6, 2013 "Destruction"

It's amazing to look back at how much of a mess a little one year old could make! He still makes messes but at least he now has no choice but to clean them up...or his toys might disappear!! :P

February 2, 2013 "Colby's 4th Bday!"

   I can't believe Colby is 4 years old already! Something about going from 3 to 4 makes them seem so much older! Lucas adores his cousin and had a blast playing in the snow with him and all the other kids! There was so much snow at my sister's place compared to Calgary! We had a wiener roast outside and the kids sledded and played till they were too cold to move! Happy Birthday Colby! We love  you!

February 1, 2013 "Chalk"

   Lucas helped his daddy take down the christmas lights today..and in the mean time found his sidewalk chalk which he proceeded to decorate our porch with! And no he doesn't need to wear his helmet to do this...he was enjoying riding his bike all around as well. So fun to enjoy nice weather when we get it!

3 years ago was my sweet nephew Colby's first bday!! I can't believe he is 4 now!

January 27, 2013-"Family day"

   The past couple weeks have been a little stressful so we needed a much needed family day together. We let Lucas choose what we should do. He chose to ride his bike to the park, wash that car and play games. Here are a few pics from our time at the park!

January 26, 2013-"Papa time"

      One of Lucas' favorite things to do is spend time with Papa!! It never ceases to warm my heart watching them play or just chill together! :)
